Message	Sata is an excellent gun but the mini jet is for touch up and spot repairs ,the different tips the Devilbiss(also a good gun) comes with allows it to be used for different materials (primer,base coat ,high solids clears) keep it well cleaned between uses and it will do what you need it to do.Most every product you will spray will be catalized so get a good mask and USE IT as well!!Good Luck
